Sadik Cinik was born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1991. He received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hacettepe University, Turkey, in 2015, and his M.Sc. in Power Electronics and Drives from the University of Nottingham, UK, in 2016.
From 2016 to 2017, he worked as a Power System Design Engineer at Turkish Aerospace Industry in Turkey. He then joined ETH Zurich University in Switzerland as a Research Assistant from 2017 to 2019, where he worked on isolated DC/DC converters for traction application. From 2019 to 2023, he was a Power Electronics Engineer at ADAM SA in Switzerland, focusing on the design and development of high-power, high-precision power converters for medical applications.
Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. at Aalborg University, in collaboration with Infineon Technologies AG since August 2023, focusing on the advancement of power converters for cost-effective, universal fast charging system with a wide output voltage range.
