Prof. Vitor Monteiro will be the supervisor of DC 6. Mr. Monteiro has a background in Power Electronics. He is the Principal Investigator of the project “newERA4GRIDs – New Generation of Unified Power Conditioner with Advanced Control, Integrating Electric Mobility, Renewables, and Active Filtering Capabilities for the Power Grid Improvement”. His main research interests are related to power electronics applied to electric mobility and he is author or co-author of more than 175 scientific papers. He is Associate Editor of the IET Power Electronics, Associate Editor of the IEEE Access, and Associate Editor of the IEEE Latin America Transactions.
