Dr. Giuseppe De Falco got the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electronic engineering respectively in 2008 and in 2011 at the University of Naples. Later, he got the PhD in 2015, also in Naples. His research activities have been focused on the analysis of reliability of power semiconductor devices operating in avalanche as well as in short circuit conditions.
During his PhD studies, Dr. De Falco had collaboration with relevant academic and industrial partners, including University of Bremen, Toyota Motor Corp. and Ansaldo STS.
In 2016, Dr. De Falco joined Infineon Technologies Austria AG, in Villach, in the GIP division. Until 2020, he has worked in the role of Technical Marketing for discrete IGBTs, SiC MOSFETs, Silicon and SiC diodes.

Currently, Dr. Giuseppe De Falco covers the role of Technical Marketing Manager in Infineon Technologies Austria AG, responsible for discrete power semiconductor devices. In this project he will be the supervisor for DC7 and 8.
