Di Wu was born in China, where he earned his bachelor’s degree from Lanzhou University, focusing on electronic science and technology. He then pursued his master’s degree at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), specializing in electrical engineering. His research at DTU concentrated on magnetic design and partial power circuit structures in power electronics, particularly for data center applications.

After graduating, Di joined the E2GO project and began his doctoral studies at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) in the Netherlands. During his PhD, he collaborates closely with Delta Electronics and Shell, focusing on innovations to reduce power loss, increase power density, and lower costs in converters for fast-charging stations for electric vehicles.
