Asim Ibrahim is a PhD student at the University of Aalborg in Denmark. His research interests include power electronics control, converter-based power systems, and EV and RES grid integration.

In his PhD project is looking at developing control systems for DC fast charging stations to enable fast charging stations to provide support for the grid. This project is a collaboration between Aalborg university and Infineon Austria AG.
